Sunrise Viewing at Zhushan: Alishan is famous for its spectacular sunrises. The viewing platform at Zhushan offers one of the best spots to witness the sunrise over a sea of clouds, creating a truly magical experience. 


Giant Tree Trail: This trail winds through a forest of ancient cypress trees, some of which are over a thousand years old. It's a serene walk that showcases the majestic natural beauty of the area. 


Sister Ponds: These two small ponds, surrounded by lush greenery, have a charming legend associated with them. They are a tranquil spot perfect for a leisurely stroll and some reflection. 


Shouzhen Temple: A beautiful and serene temple dedicated to the deities of the mountain. The temple's architecture and peaceful ambiance provide a spiritual retreat. 


Fenqihu Old Street: This charming village at the foothills of Alishan is known for its nostalgic atmosphere, delicious bento boxes (train lunches), and traditional Taiwanese snacks. The old street is a great place to explore local culture and cuisine. 


Alishan Sacred Tree (Xianglin Sacred Tree): A massive ancient tree that has become a symbol of Alishan. The tree, estimated to be over 3,000 years old, stands as a testament to the area's natural history.
